Thursday Guest Speakers

Chas Hague: (20 Minutes)
Chas has been a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary for 14 years. He has served as Staff Officer and Commander of Flotilla 39-02 in Des Plaines, Illinois, and is qualified as Instructor and Vessel Examiner. He has been a sailor for over 40 years, but gave up on fishing because he never caught anything. Chas will give us information about the boating safety course that is being offered on Zoom to provide the knowledge needed to obtain a boating certificate. Many insurance agencies will offer you a 10% discount on completion of a safety course.**

Mark Clements: (20 minutes)
Mark Clement is the owner of Clements Fishing Barge and Captain Hook’s Bait Shop & Tackle on Pool 9 of the Mississippi River in Genoa Wisconsin. Mark’s family has owned the business since 1936. Mark will speak to us about what a fisherman can expect spending a day on his barge in different times of the year. See attached file with all the information.

Dan Carney:
Dan is a RFC Lifetime Member.  Dan writes the RFC newsletter in the MWO each month.Dan has been a speaker at our meeting before.  Dan is well groomed with fresh and salt water fishing. Currently, Dan is staying at his house in Florida for the winter and goes fishing just about everyday.  Dan will share with us his tricks of fishing. I have fished with Dan before and it is very hard to match or beat the fish that he catches each day.
