IDNR BIOLIGIST – GREAT FISHING SPOTS & SECRETS
MARCH 14TH FISHING CLUB SPEAKER – Andy Plauck North Region IDNR Biologist – has been with IDNR since 2011 as a District Fishery Biologist covering DuPage, Kane and McHenry counties. In 2022, he took over for Lake and the northern half of Cook County when biologist Frank Jakubicek retired.

Andy previously worked in Columbia, Missouri with U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service on the Missouri River Pallid Sturgeon Project. Andy grew up in Oswego fishing the Fox River before attending Southern Illinois University. He currently lives in McHenry with his wife and their two dogs. In his free time, he still enjoys fishing the Fox River but spends more time on the Fox Chain O Lakes.
